About the event

Learn all about pollinators.  Why is it so important that we preserve and increase the numbers of pollinators?  How do pollinators fit into our ecosystem?  As gardeners what can we do to provide the right plants and habitats for the bees, butterflies and birds?   Margery Winters, Assistant Director of Roaring Brook Nature Center, Founder of the Simsbury Educational Enhancement Foundation and President of the Simsbury Land Trust will share her knowledge with us.   The Stafford Garden Club will also be on hand with information and resources, touching on the Pollinator Pathways program.  Foster Hill Farm of Stafford is sponsoring this event.  The event is free.  Attendees will have the option of making a donation to the Stafford Garden Club at the door.   The event is at the Stafford Senior Center but all ages are welcome:-)
